Rimac Automobili is looking for Assistant Purchasing Officer that will introduce and maintain best practices and processes of effective purchasing to our organization. You will be responsible for finding new vendors for various products and services, pricing negotiations, service contracts and authorization of new vendors. You need to be in time with market conditions and new products. Your work will require the issuance of purchase orders and other tracking documentation. You will monitor the available materials on the stock, intervene if necessary and plan purchasing activities. The Assistant Purchasing Officer will work closely with the Purchasing Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
  • Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system
  • Responsible for the preparation and process of purchase orders and documents
  • Plan and manage inventory levels of materials or products
  • Source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers
  • Keep informed of current developments in the field of purchasing, prices, market conditions, and new products

Requirements:

  • 1 – 2 years of experience in purchasing (international purchasing is a plus)
  • Excellent knowledge of English (more languages is a plus)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience in ERP/SAP or similar is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Good organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Proactivity, responsibility, and diligence
  • Calmness and kindness
  • Automotive experience is a plus, but not required
