The 24th International Cartoon Exhibition on the topic of ‘Male – Female Relations’ opens on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 7 pm at the Klovićevi Dvori Gallery in Zagreb. The exhibition will be open for visitors until 19 May 2019.
Each year, the exhibition gathers a large number of authors from all over the world. The theme of this year’s exhibition or the ‘cartoon’ festival is male-female relations, seen from all possible perspectives that cartoonists can imagine. This year, the exhibition received a record of 1007 works from 420 cartoonists from 60 different countries around the globe.
Just as the last ten years, the exhibition will be located in the attractive exhibition space of the Klovićevi Dvori Gallery, where 90 best-of-breed works will be presented. The biggest number of authors comes from Croatia (38), Turkey (35), Iran (34), Serbia (29), China (23), Russia (21), Romania (18) and Ukraine (17).
