Croatian School Museum

The Croatian Teaching and Literary Union founded the Croatian Schools Museum in 1901. It is located in the building of the Croatian Teacher’s House. It is the only museum in Croatia specialised in education; materials from the past and present of Croatian schooling and teaching are being collected, studied and exhibited.

Working hours:
On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays 9 am to 5 pm
Thursdays 10 am to 8 pm
On Saturdays 9 am to 2 pm

The museum is closed on Sundays, Mondays and public holidays.

Tickets:
– Adults: 15 kuna
– Pupils, students, pensioners, people with special needs 10 kuna

Free of charge:
Children under 7 years, leaders of tourist groups, individual visits on Thursdays from 5 pm to 10 pm. On every first Saturday in the month there will be groups with organised professional guidance who want to see the permanent exhibition from 11 am to 12 pm.
