Martina Bienenfeld, director of the Zagreb Tourist Board, was named ‘Woman of the Year’, by the magazine Zaposlena. Martina Bienenfeld got this flattering title because of all the effort she made for the event Advent in Zagreb in 2015, when Zagreb was named the best European Christmass destination.
‘I got the award, but if you ask me, all nominated women are winners, as well as all the women in the business world. We must collaborate and support each others’, said Bienenfeld. Until now, Zagreb Tourist Board led by Martina Bienenfeld, won 57 awards and prizes among which ‘Hi-Europe’s Dream City Award 2016’ for the best European destination for Chinese tourists.
Except for Bienenfeld, this year magazine Zaposlena also nominated Ksenija Vrbanic fashion designer and owner of the brand Xenia design; Ksenija Kardum, director of Nova TV news program; Linda Poščić Borovac, CEO of innovative company Crocon and Croatian director Ivona Juka.
