“Why does the world need a Piano Day? For many reasons. But mostly, because it doesn’t hurt to celebrate the piano and everything around it: performers, composers, piano builders, tuners, movers and most important, the listener.” – Nils Frahm
Today is the 88th day of the year, a day dedicated to celebrating centuries-old instrument and our habit of playing. Piano players will probably know it, 88 because that is the usual number of keys. The event is only a few years old and was popularized by german composer and producer Nils Frahm.
Play a few notes, relax and enjoy the day!
