The Advent in Zagreb officially began yesterday, when the first Advent candle was lit on Manduševac, at 7.50 pm. This year, looking shinier than ever, it made its way to the list of best Christmas Markets in Europe.
This is the third year in a row that Zagreb got nominated on the list by the European Best Destinations website. We are competing with fabulous European Christmas Markets like the ones in Vienna, Budapest, Strasbourg, Aachen, Helsinki and the list goes on.
Even though Zagreb managed to win the title past two years in a row, it definitely won’t be easy to do so again. There are a total of 24 cities on the list, and everyone can vote for their three favorite ones.
