Wine Tasting ‘Pelješac in Zagreb’

Wine tasting Pelješac in Zagreb organized by the Vinoljupci association will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019, in the restaurant The Writers’ Club (Klub književnika) in Zagreb, to present visitors to eight Pelješac wineries. The show starts at 6pm, and in addition to the selected wines, visitors will be able to enjoy the delicious snacks and live music.

The event will include the presentation of eight Pelješac wineries – Vino Marlais, Vina Matković, Vina Ledinić, PZ Putniković, PZ Postup, Winery Ponos, Vina Arambašić and Dingač-Skaramuča

“Last year’s presentation of Pelješac wines was one of the most visited events of our organization. The pleasure of the winemakers, the visitors and the organizers resulted in a desire to make this gathering traditional. We wanted to start every season with the brilliant wines from Pelješac winemakers. This year, we expect an even better atmosphere and, of course, an even greater number of visitors, “said Irena Lučić, the main organizer of the project, and noted that visitors will have the opportunity to taste wines of small Pelješac producers that are difficult, if not impossible, to find and taste in Zagreb. The event was organized in cooperation with the association Plavac mali – Pelješac.

Pelješac is one of the most famous Croatian vineyards and the most common sort grown at Pelješac is plavac mali, indigenous Croatian sort of wine. Plavac mali grown in the locations of Dingač and Postup shows the exceptional quality that has achieved, and to this day has kept, the world glory.
